Established in 1990, Adfix Ironmongery Ltd is a family run business specialising in the supply of cast antique Iron, rustic Iron and hand forged fittings to the trade on the basis of resale. Please call or email us with any quantity or special requirements?
Please note that we do not have a walk-in trade counter – all orders must be taken from the website or over the phone prior to delivery or collection. You are very welcome to visit our factory nestled at the foot of the Yorkshire Wolds in Riplingham, and look round our showroom to see the products for yourself.
All our products are our own designs, hand-made using the same traditional methods as they were hundreds of years ago, and are sold as authentic, vintage & antique hardware & goods. Our products are all naturally finished allowing them to age naturally over time. Due to the nature of the traditional manufacturing methods, this does mean each product will come with variations from each other of identification, wax, appearance and markings. Please note these are not manufacturing defect, these add to the patina and character of the product.
Our best Selling finish is cast antique iron. All our antique iron products are finished using a five-stage hand finishing process. We also produce ranges in epoxy black, brass on iron, polished brass, antique brass, chrome on brass, enamel, chrome on iron, polished copper, antique copper on iron and rust. We also make Hand-Forged Ranges.
For authenticity, we do not lacquer any of our products, however all are lovingly waxed by Hand in our Factory in the Yorkshire Wolds. This is a maintenance wax, and serves as a basic protection to moisture.
Our antique iron products may show light surface rust if exposed to damp environments. If necessary, this can be easily removed by using light oil (such as WD40) and a fine grade wire wool. Our iron products will age naturally and develop their own patina over time. Should any products arrive with a residue of wax, a wipe over with a cloth is advised.
Specific Product Requests: If you are looking for a specific product and either cannot find it or have a design idea we are happy to work with you. Speak to our in-house advisors on 01482 222100 and the process is simple. We take the Brief, Design, Approve, arrange Production, Payment, Shipping and Delivery. Please note the following terms apply: Payment up front for exclusive products including tooling. Non-exclusive products, Adfix invest in tooling. Lead-times of 3 months and agreed minimum quantities to be accepted. We have worked with many of our Clients in this way as many of our products are not ‘off-the-shelf’.

Payment: We accept payment by credit Card, Paypal and BACs. Orders Cancelled due to delayed Payment are subject to a re-stocking fee of 10%.
